Are you passionate about engaging young people with environmental issues? Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of young people and the environment they will grow up in? If so then this is the job for you.

We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to deliver our flagship Our Future’s People project in 5 secondary schools in north Powys during academic year 2018-19 (see www.ourfuturespeople.org.uk for project details).

We are looking for someone with experience of teaching or working with young people to recruit and support a team of pupils in each school. You will inspire young people to apply to take part in the project and provide them with training on energy and climate change issues. You will support them in surveying their schools, reporting their findings and recommendations to Governors and Senior Leadership Teams as well as planning and running awareness campaigns to promote positive behaviour change among pupils and staff.

We are looking for someone with a passion for environmental education, able to engage and inspire students aged 11-18. This post will provide you with a chance to work with some amazing young people who share your passion for protecting the environment. We are currently mid-way through project delivery in the first phase of schools. We have been amazed by the dedication and enthusiasm the pupils have shown and look forward to seeing this repeated under your management.
