PAVO are proud to have hired two Intermediate Care Volunteer Officers – Melissa Townsend and Claire James - to help organisations with Health and Social Care goals to recruit, train and place volunteers. If you are looking to increase your volunteer capacity in Powys, they are both available to help you to do so. Melissa and Claire will be attending events across the county to promote volunteering in the sector and could perform targeted recruitment on your behalf.

Organisations could often benefit from short-term help from someone with a particular skillset. Getting this help commercially can be expensive which can, in turn, hold up your organisational development.
Micro-volunteering aims to bridge this gap between resource and skill requirements. Perhaps you need a half-day help with work on your website, or some legal advice on a contract? PAVO may be able to help you find this help for free – just contact Sally as detailed above to find out more and to see if we have a suitable match for your needs.
