Info Engine is an online database of voluntary and community groups in Powys, and the services and activities that they offer.
You can use Info Engine to search for services or activities by organisation, type of service (category), and location. Voluntary and community groups active in Powys can register on Info Engine for free to tell people about their services and how best to contact them.

Powys is a large county characterised by a wealth of local grassroot community activity. The Info Engine database allows residents and staff of statutory and voluntary organisations to quickly and easily identify and access support and activities. The Info Engine database also has the potential to be used for "mapping and gapping" services which can support the development of new services appropriate to the needs of Powys residents.
Info Engine was set up as a grant funded project between PAVO and Powys County Council and launched in 2008. The development of Info Engine is overseen by a multi-agency Project Management Board, including representatives from PAVO, Powys County Council, Powys teaching Health Board and Powys' strategic Thematic Partnerships.
Many project partners are developing feeds from Info Engine to their own websites and have made a commitment to ensuring that the third sector service providers that they commission register on Info Engine. It is important that voluntary and community groups working in Powys register on Info Engine.
We have recently received funding to support the redevelopment of Info Engine to ensure that it becomes the key database of all voluntary and community groups and services in Powys - small and large. You will notice significant changes to the look and feel of the website in Autumn/Winter 2012.
