One Powys Yn Un is an intiative led by Powys' Local Service Board (LSB) to bring together and replace a wide range of existing strategies and plans by public service providing organisations to provide a single focus for how they will work together for the people of Powys.
It is intended that the One Powys approach will:
- Better align organisational and community planning
- Remove unnecessary duplication between the organisations and partnerships
This work has resulted in the creation of the One Powys Plan 2011-2014. The Plan will be very influential in guiding the priorities for public services in Powys and it will have an impact on every citizen in the county. It includes the Third Sector and acknowledges the key role that voluntary organisations and community groups play in providing services to Powys' communities and improving the life of Powys' people.
