PAVO, within the county’s partnership arrangements, has established a Community Sector Emergency Response Team (C-SERT).
This comprises county organisations that offer volunteer support and emergency response services alongside partners from Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board.
The notes from C-SERT meetings can be accessed by clicking on the links below.
The main vehicle for supporting communities will be our Community Connector service - please click here for details. Through this service we will be working with others to develop local support networks.
Our Community Connectors can be contacted on 01597 828649 / community.connectors(at)pavo.org.uk
We are also recruiting volunteers to help statutory health and care services during this period. You will be able to choose in which area or community you'd like to volunteer.
Please register to join an opportunity if you would like to help us help others in these difficult times. If you would like more information about volunteering or help to register as a volunteer, please email volunteering(at)pavo.org.uk.
We will also ensure that people, communities and organisations have the necessary information and support to keep safe and to help each other. Please register for our C-SERT bulletins by sending your name and email address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
